1. The design of Minsheng gas cylinder not only uses the specified calculation formula, but also uses the finite element analysis Then, the calculated data are verified and validated by experiments using various techniques including strain gauge measurement.

2.After analysing chemical, physical, mechanical properties and, if necessary, stress corrosion resistance; all materials (carbon steel,stainless steel, alloy and fiber etc.) are carefully selected according to the final using conditions.

TYPE APPROVAL

Prototype design testing and analysis is carried out by the independent third party organization (e.g. BV/SGS/TUV/DNV/KGS/ASME) to carry out each new gas cylinder design to obtain the necessary approvals. According to the relevant specifications, some tests required for approval are carried out on Minsheng laboratory using our own instruments and facilities. In addition to routine mechanical tests, these tests also include advanced tests on gas cylinders, such as environmental tests, extreme temperature tests, defective burst tests, bonfire / high-speed impact tests (gun fires), gas pressure cycle tests, etc. In addition, a number of material tests have been carried out, such as sulfide stress cracking, compatibility and fatigue crack growth under gaseous hydrogen up to 25Mpa.
